Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care

The Essex Skills Bootcamp for the Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care offers a structured, sixteen-week programme designed to strengthen the local workforce, provide clear routes into employment and support progression within the sector. The course meets recognised standards and reflects the expectations of Essex County Council and adult social care providers.

Aims of the Programme

  • Equip learners with the knowledge and practical understanding needed for safe and effective practice in adult social care.
  • Support unemployed learners into sustained work through employer engagement and guaranteed interview opportunities.
  • Enable employed learners to develop the competencies required for progression into senior or specialised roles.
  • Provide a consistent level of training that aligns with sector priorities and regulatory expectations.
